Guest guest Posted August 24, 2010 Report Share Posted August 24, 2010 Well as of now i really don't know a whole lot about it all, im trying to get a second consult.over in indy hosp. she is premature was born at 32 weeks, born with a brain bleed, was on a vent, also has a cyst on her left side of her brain causing a lil delay in her right side (but no where near as bad as the left) the pmg is in the right side of her brain only it looked to be from about the ear to the middle of her forehead on the mri scan. they also said something about her having alot of extra space around her brain..(her head is kinda big for the rest of her body, its the only thing on the charts as far as her measurements and what not go she is 55 % for her head and her length and wt are not even on the chart for her age..she can say baba, dada, papa and its been said that she has said ma a couple times but just once not mama..??!! i have not heard it,, my husband and father have. she sits, does not crawl nor walk, doesn't eat finger foods by herself yet, but she tries. > > > > I live in Chicago, IL.,which is about 50 miles from Portage, IN.. > > My son has PMG, he is going to be six in about a month. He does not sit by himself , he can hold finger foods sometimes.He is one of the happiest little guts you will ever meet. If you would like to meet I would love too-we could meet half way.. Guest guest Posted August 24, 2010 Report Share Posted August 24, 2010 yes she is doing well, and is so happy too,, I would love to meet however I just started school back up yesterday and im on a full case load, work, and therapys which they are trying to up cuz they said it will help her more,, not that i don't want to do I will do anything for my girl!! but i pretty much means im swamped right now and already scrapping up change for gas, but when im ready, i will message you.. what i have noticed with every parent with a kid pmg is they are happy babies, and thats what is most important!
