Guest guest
Hi Dear , that's great that you are whizzing around! Does your little dog run beside? Leashed or unleashed? How did you train him to deal with it? I want to train my little guy but I'm so scared of running him over he's only 7 pounds.Ruby (my elderly dog) will heel easily beside it, she's a border collie/lab X. Seven has never been off leash trained at all and we are just starting to work on recall. All that pain is just nasty.hope the new regimen helps and also the O2. Really glad your doc is on board better for you! XOX Aylwin
Guest guest
Hi Alywin! Gizmo is a lil guy too, barely 11 lbs. I worried bout him too but started in a park just accross from my home. When he hears the chair start to move (just before it moves, it sounds like " engage " ) his attention is on my left right away. I shorted the lead so that if he pauses, he gets a tug so he is forced really to keep up. He knows when it's busness, he's healing and watching me but when we go to the park, I let him run on full length lead and I adjust where I am to where he is taking me. Yeah, this pain is taking a real toll on me if I can hold on til my rx change next week. I find that I am exhausted very quickly in the morning and have to return to bed. If I'm lucky, I can dose off in spite of this pain. All of us knows what that's all about. How bout you? HOw are you doing with the Move? Are you more relaxed about the process? Mebe not til you get settled in the new place. Thinking about you always, take care! Love

Guest guest
Hi Dear , well he does heel pretty good so thanks for the tips, I will try him out with the scooter! You know this is going to be a very low stress move, I “asked” not to have to go look at lots of places, certain physical requirements for comfort & health, price range, location…nice landlords…and I got it all at the first place I looked at! Now the move is shaping up and I and budgeted for help packing as I cannot do it myself. I did go look at one other and it was horrible by comparison LOL, I have been handed the perfect spot. BTW they are checking me for MS too. Hope your pain gets under control VERY soon, it’s a discipline to rest despite it hey? Sending waves of relief & Love, Aylwin xox
Guest guest
Yes, he would totally fit in the basket but he needs his exercise too! Guest guest
Sounds wonderful about the new apartment. That is great too that you didn't have to look at lots of places. Is this public housing? Who is the they you told about what your needs were and that are helping with the packing. That part's great too. I hope the move goes really smoothly. When is moving date? Guest guest
Thanks Sandrea! Well it's not an apartment, it's a little cabin (country grrl here). " They " , sadly, are (nice!) people I am paying to help, with the $$$I beg off my Mum. I am too weak to really pack and shift things around. I found last time that friends are not reliable to help with the big things, and to be fair, most are either working their butts off, or ill in some way like me. So I kinda let them off the hook a bit and told them to come help me unpack, there will be plenty of work but someone can just come for tea and help for an hour or two. I hope to get over there soon, I am just waiting for the truck people to call with a date and then I am out of here! Get it over with. It's amazing I did not have to search endlessly for a place as housing is very tight and expensive here, I really got lucky. Cheers, Aylwin xox _____ From: CFAlliance [mailto:CFAlliance ] On Behalf Of Sandrea Kornblum Sent: Sunday, August 05, 2007 7:41 AM To: CFAlliance Subject: Re: , scooters etc. Sounds wonderful about the new apartment.
