Guest guest
Howdy Good Affirmation Friends, I really appreciate the tremendous feedback from our members regarding Val's question on "Having Difficulty". I wanted to add something myself. I may be the founder of this group, but I still sometimes lose my way as well. Most of the summer I was severely depressed, as I have been this fall, but I'm trying to take necessary steps to begin my climb back up. I won't say it is easy, nor does it go as fast as I would like, but I'm hanging in there. If I can do it, anyone can! There are so MANY successful people who are members of this group who have come "from way down there" and who have overcome, and who have not only achieved, but have conquered, and gone on to huge successes! I'm one of them (even though I wouldn't say I'm a success at the present time, but I'll get there again). I've made it before -- that is why I started this group in September 2002. So never give up! Just Keep on Keeping On! Just this weekend, I dug out my Louise Hay CDs, and started listening to them again after a couple of years of having them just sit there collecting dust. It is amazing how much they help! For anyone just starting this: I highly recommend Louise Hay's CDs that have her talking affirmatively on one side, and then subliminal messages spoken inaudibly under music & nature & ocean sounds on the other side. (Actually it is "all one side" now that they are on CD format). A couple of my favorite ones are: 1) "Self-Esteem" and 2) "Stress-Free" !! If a person could only afford to purchase one CD, choose one of those to begin with! Continue to listen to them at least once every day, and you are guaranteed to see improvements! I'm already feeling better after just listening to #1) above just two times so far. Just thought I'd share this with you guys. I plan to keep on working on myself, and pulling myself back up, ...so you guys continue to work on yourselves too! Together, we can do this! Remember, "All is Well!" 9/24/07 Love & Hugs, PJ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/AffirmationstoDe-Stress A positive thinking, positive affirmations support group, that discusses ways to cope with the stresses of daily life.
