My question is...if you DO have the marker, does that ALWAYS mean that you have the spinal arthritis? I was told by my new Rheumy that I DO test positive for HLA-B27 and I AM having a lot of back pain, but the doc actually said that he was diagnosing me with spondylitis...all he said was PA. I'm just a little confused about this whole thing...could you please try to explain it to me? Thanks so much, Cyndi [Editor's Note: For what it's worth, I've been told that, like with everything else with PA, HLAB27 is not a guarantee of spondylitis. It just makes it a likely possibility. D. On another note, the lowdown on ozone therapy is here: http://www.ozonio.com.br/medical.htm You'll find that it reduces toxin load, the cause of many diseases and reduces 255 diseases including infectious ones, and candida. Of course, dietary considerations are also important. Anyone can get further information from a medical perspective from the International Ozone Association or two similar international organisations.
