Guest guest
My apologies for this impersonal letter, but I had to send this to a lot of people, and figured a generic email would be the easiest way. Effective immediately, I have a new email address: waynenf@.... Starting immediately, please do not send any further email to wnfisher@..., as this account has been deactivated? Why the new email address? I recently upgraded my internet connection to cable internet access with Comcast High Speed Internet. Now that I am fully transitioned to the new internet provider, I have no need for my Earthlink account and have cancelled this account. So, why am I not using my comcast.net email account? There are 2 reasons for this: 1. Comcast's email accounts have a very small mailbox size (5 MB), and do not allow any attachments over 1 MB. If I am to continue receiving as much email as I do, some with large attachments (since I run a few web sites and do need to receive large file attachments to add to the web sites), the small message size and mailbox limits on Comcast were not enough. I decided to open an account with Runbox.com, who provides a 100 MB mailbox with mail messages up to 10 MB in size. This will ensure I never loose an email message (or attachment) again. 2. Comcast's email servers are not very reliable, and many times reject email because of problems or are down. I'd rather not take that chance with my email. Besides, as a new subscriber, I will not have access to comcast email for at least another 2 weeks, and, from what I am hearing from other comcast subscribers, the email that they do provide is unreliable and slow. So, please do not send any more email to wnfisher@..., and start using waynenf@.... Please update your address books accordingly. - Wayne
