Happy New Year from PJ (& Message)

Hello To All Affirmation Members,

This is PJ, your friendly leader here. Just wanted to wish everyone a most

wonderful New Year's!!! I know that 2007 will be a terrific year -- I just feel

it -- okay, and believe it, too!

I wish all of you the best 2007 that you can possibly have! Stick around with

us this year, and we will make sure that you have plenty of affirmations,

uplifting stories, and friendship throughout this coming year!

While I'm at it -- I'd like to welcome all of our new members! And to welcome

back all of our old familiar friends and members, too!

Looking at back at 2006 has some wonderful memories also. I would like to

share with you one of last year's wonderful happenings -- forgive me for sharing

it again with you, but it was quite memorable.

Excerpted Message that was written on October 6, 2006:

" The last thing I want to mention to you, and a bit bashedly, ...WAS I got to

personally talk with Louise Hay on her Hay House Radio program today. It is the

very first time I've been able to " connect " with Louise, and it was a tremendous

thrill. She is an incredibly neat person and so " in tune " with the Universe and

has helped so many people, and continues to do so! Anyway, if you guys want to

go listen: it is being played again this evening, ...and in a few days will be

in the ARCHIVES on Hay House Radio for everyone to listen to whenever they want

to or to even burn it to a CD. It was a four-hour Radiothon with Louise Hay and

was really incredible. "

" I think my conversation with Louise was sometime the first or second hour of

the radio program. It was an incredible opportunity, and I felt so blessed to be

able to wish her a " Happy 80th Birthday " and to be able to finally thank her

(personally) for all the many things she has done to bless so many people

throughout her life. I was extemely nervous, but I believe that we had a

terrific conversation. She even got to " ZING " me, as I mentioned out loud that

" life is so hard these days for so many " , and she told me that WAS my

affirmation! I immediately realized it, and checked myself, and told her I would

strive to be more positive! We all had a good laugh about it. Anyway, just

thought I'd mention this for anyone who may have been unable to listen to her

program today on the radio - it was in daily working hours. "

Well, as you can see. The year " 2006 " was pretty magical and miraculous for

me. I've been a Louise Hay Fan for more years than I'd like to admit, and this

was the very first time that I'd gotten a letter through to her, or gotten to

talk to her personally -- even though it was on the radio program and through my

phone at home. (I've never met her in person, but hope to be able to this year

at the " I Can DO IT Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in the spring!)***

I have to tell you that her bubbly laugh still rings in my ears from talking

with her back in October. She is a wonderful person and one who I admire

tremendously! Through her philosophies, she helped to change my life, and the

lives of other family members and that makes her Number One in my book.
