Guest guest
I just looked at the list of symptoms in Broda ' book. Burning or tingling sensations is listed as a symptoms of hypothyroidism. If you do an internet search of peripheral neuropathy and hypothyroidism, you will have quite a few matches. I wake up with tingling in my arms quite a bit. I'm don't have Hashi's but am hypothyroid. I just started treatment about 3 1/2 months ago. Kim in Aubrey Fingers tingling I have Hashimoto's and have been seeing Dr for almost a year, but here recently I have had tingling in my fingers. I just wondered if this could be related to my Hashimoto's? I am currently taking Armour, Cortisol, Progesterone and Estrogen. Any advice would be appreciated and Merry Christmas. Guest guest
I have been wondering the same thing. I do have Hashi's with just one antibody, and I have noticed I am getting a tingling in my fingers, and in my left foot. Also, my eyes have become really dry. Is dry eyes also connected to Hashi's or should I try and get tested for Sjrogens. My endo doesnt seem to know much about sjrogens or how to test or treat me for it. Merry Christmas. --- Kim Hanson wrote: > I just looked at the list of symptoms in Broda > ' book. Guest guest
Some of my most aggravating symptoms to start with were dry eyes and mouth with 'burnt tongue' where it felt like I had drunk hot chocolate too fast and burned my tongue. I rarely get the burned tongue now and my dry eyes and mouth are only real obvious when I am at my worst. I can only credit hydracortizone & Armour for the improvement. Teri I have been wondering the same thing. I do haveHashi's with just one antibody, and I have noticed Iam getting a tingling in my fingers, and in my leftfoot. Also, my eyes have become really dry. Guest guest
A common and easily diagnosed and treated cause of numbness and tingling sensations is low B 12 levels. Get that checked with your next labs.>> I have Hashimoto's and have been seeing Dr for almost a year, > but here recently I have had tingling in my fingers. Guest guest
You might also consider seeing a hand & wrist doctor to be checked for carpal tunnel, if your b12 levels are normal. I have tingling issues, and turns out I have a cyst in my right wrist joint (ganglion cyst). I had a cortisone shot and it was okay after that. I did not need another one, although it still bothers me from time to time (esp when it pushes on the nerve). > > > > I have Hashimoto's and have been seeing Dr for almost a year, > > but here recently I have had tingling in my fingers. Guest guest
, I had the same cyst as you when I was in my early twenties. It was a repetitve stress injury connected with my job. It was visible and very painful. When I changed jobs it went away. Guest guest
I have not had the tingling. Dry eyes was a major problem for me. I had to get the saline/tears type eye drops and use them several times a day. As I get better in general the problem is gradually going away. Carol >> I have been wondering the same thing.
