Guest guest
Abby- I am so pleased your dad was released from the hospital and was received at the NH with open arms. That must have been so comforting to you, and to him. Again, there is such power in prayer. Do remember to store up memories in your heart - now is the time. I just got back from printing out my e-ticket to New Zealand. Just seems like a dream come true. I want to tell you and everyone to hang in there - good things really DO come to those who wait. There IS something good that comes out of an otherwise bad situation. I wouldn't change caregiving for my dad, even if I had another chance to do it over again. I would, however change the education out there. My dad became my life, with all that pertained to caregiving for him. Now comes my rewards. Life has many surprises out there, just need to be open to accepting them. I am stubborn (don't respond ) and I do have my pride. I also have learned though that " paying forward " is one of the best techniques created. Thank you for your friendship, and for all that you have offered this group, and me personally. You are one of a kind Abby! Love to you, with many hugs- Sandie

(Can you hear my YAHOO!! there in Iowa cause I'm certainly screaming loud enough). As always Sandie, it's easy to be your friend. Right from the start, you've been a kindred spirit and the magic you work on this board is infectious. Many, many hugs to you and to your NZ soulmate, Abby
