Hello Everyone,

I mentioned a while back that my mother had been given a mental

health counselor through a state grant for seniors. Some pilot

program.

After 3 sessions with the 3 three of us the poor guy suggested that

maybe I would like to have someone to talk to on my own, since then

he has given me the phone number of the program director who will see

me personally.

Am I to be insulted or grateful? I took it this way.

He saw how difficult it is for me to cope with my mother and realized

I needed some help in a recovery type of mode. He heard my despair

with the family dysfunction.

Anyway this program is attached to a large hospital and I hope I can

do us KO's some justice in presenting our frustrations accuratly.

The problem I see is that I do not trust any program that tries to

repair our relationship(my mothers and mine) and I don't want to be

involved in all thoes memories and just be a complainer. Life is too

short but you tell me, maybe I should be gratefull. Maybe they can

help me rise above all this.

Merry Christmas to Everyone..Vicki
