Guest guest
To All- Just wanted to pass along, in my experiences with my dad, whenever there was a cloudy day, stormy, or even a full moon...my dad would always have a bad day. I remember discussing this with other caregivers when I was previously a member, and when my dad was still living. Just food for thought here. Do know that usually, with LBD, the fluctuations will change and with every bad day a good day may follow. Keeping all in my prayers- Sandie Des Moines, IA - with sitting at my side
Guest guest
I think so too Sandie! The day we went to see Dad it was very dark (grey) and windy with like 10 " of snow on the ground from the previous day. From now on, I'm visiting on SUNNY days! Guest guest
Coyote- Thank you for backing up my feelings of 'cloudy' and 'grey' days...storms, full moons...all seemed to through my dad into a bad day or even an extremely unusual behaviors type of day. So sorry you have noticed this in your dad as well - yet it must be a bit comforting knowing you are not alone. Drive like heck when the sun shines!! Thinking of you- Sandie
Guest guest
Very true. It seemed if my mother had a bad day (or 2) then she would have a good day. It is like riding a roller coaster.
