Guest guest
- Count me in on knowledge of cars. I tell you, I can't sew a stitch...well, can somewhat mend by hand - sewing machine...ewwww! Yet, when it comes to cars and such - count me in. I have helped drop transmissions, oil changes...rebuild motors...love it!! Yet another similarity! Guest guest
Sandie: I agree. It is tooooo far for him to drive. The ACD is in Auburn and it is a car show of old cars all weekend. Something that everyone should see. He will be here or you will be there sooner than you think. Guest guest
Can I tell you Sandie is worried about me driving her precious F150. I made the mistake of commenting that we drive on the proper side of the road here in New Zealand, and the steering wheel is on the right side of the vehicle. I also remember at La Crosse, at the first LBD Caregiver's gathering in August last year, leaving a bar there and nearly being hit by a car. You see, I went to cross a street, and before I left the curb, I looked right then left then right as I was taught. It was clear, but when I was crossing, I saw a car coming from my left, so thought I would wait on the road for the car to pass. Imagine my surprise when it continued at me in the lane I was in. Also made the mistake of telling Sandie about this episode.
