Guest guest
, I thought this site was really interesting. It talks about how to interpret various temperature patterns as regards thyroid and adrenal function. http://www.drrind.com/tempgraph.asp Hope you find this useful. Guest guest
Hi , I know with me, it doesnt go up until mid cycle, and goes down with start of menstruation. So if your temp was up in the beginning maybe it was due to cold or allergies, and now its dropped back to its usual range. Probably just note what day you were on, and how you were feeling when you record your BBT? I myself have never charted which I should to get a better picture, and I dont for the same reason as you, that my temps are all over. Although I do consistantly note mid cycle it stays up and doesnt dip below a certain point. --- Cauley wrote: > > > > > > Does anyone know how your menstrual cycle is > supposed to affect your bbt? > My temp went up a whole degree when I started my > cycle and now on day 4 it > is down 2 degrees. Guest guest
I think you are supposed to make note of illness or problems in the " comments " lines on the pink BBT sheet. I'd bet they want you to get those temps done asap and just explain how you are feeling in your notes. You might call the office and tell them what's going on and ask them what to do. > > > > > > > Does anyone know how your menstrual cycle is supposed to affect your bbt? > My temp went up a whole degree when I started my cycle and now on day 4 it > is down 2 degrees. Guest guest
I believe your temperature goes up with the onset of ovulation. I think wome that are trying to get pregnant due BBT so they know when it is the optimal time for fertilization. I agree with the other response. Write the temps down with your comments and get it sent in. Dr R is really good at taking things into consideration. I believe on mine he might have thrown out a high temp before he averaged them. Guest guest
I think they always throw out the high and the low before averaging. Guest guest
I think that the key here is to call the doctor and let them know everything that is going on here, with the varying temp changes, blow by blow details of it, and see what they have to say about it. Don't handle this on your own, when you have such a good doctor. I think that he will have some heavy input on this one. They need to know this and what difficulties you're having here. Guest guest
Thanks for eveyone's ideas. I will be calling them today to find out where my WIP shipment is and will fax my temps on Friday (10 days worth) and let them know about my allergies and such. The weird thing is that I am pretty consistent except for that one day that was 2 degrees below the others...I took it twice to verify. I am guessing he will throw that one out. I started the CH 15 diet and am having major carb crash right now. Yesterday I was sooo tired and had a bad headache. My DH is cheering me on and even ate the cookie that came with my lunch so I wouldn't be tempted . I am hoping the carb withdrawal will only last a couple of days and not 10 days, like the last one. But I eat much healthier now than I did before the last time I tried a diet like this. Guest guest
Oooh, big kudods to your DH!! I had a carb crash myself yesterday, but the other direction. I was tired, hungry, lazy and low on calories the night before, so in the late evening I raided DH's granola cereal and had bowl. It felt like I hadn't taken any Armour at all yesterday. Zzzzzzzz. > > Thanks for eveyone's ideas.
