Guest guest
Hi, Uh, do you have a BP fada? I'm curious, if you're a daughter, why the " fatboy " screen name? - Edith fatboyfatboy61 wrote: > Hi all, > > Anything on BP fathers? Guest guest
Edith, I'm female...fatboy? what's the difference...I have a very good reason that's all. Apparently I have some " fleas " given to me by fada. Keeps me from having a good relationship with anyone. Diagnoised by my therapist. FB > > > Hi all, > > > > Anything on BP fathers? Guest guest
Hi Tiki, No two BPs are exactly alike and yet we can see the similarities from other KO's posts to this list. My kids had a BPD/NPD fada and the problems they had were very similar to those I'd had with my BPD/NPD nada. With the exception that, he was more like a 5-7 yo bully whereas my nada was an emotional 2 yo. Also, my BPD/NPD hubby was my son's role model. He and my daughter both had to go through the de-flea-ing process. Lawson, who wrote UBM, stated to Randi that UBM is for those with fadas as well as nadas. The same basic principles apply. - Edith tiki wrote: > good question about bp fada. are the personality traits of a bp fada the same as a nada? i've got both bp fada and nada. tiki > Re: BP f > > Hi, > Uh, do you have a BP fada? > I'm curious, if you're a daughter, why the " fatboy " screen name? > - Edith > > > fatboyfatboy61 wrote: > > Hi all, > > Anything on BP fathers? I know you wrote before - or think you did - about how a BP tries to keep the KO from maturing beyond his/her own level of emotional development. So - yes - I am sure seeing the emotional delays I have. Yet I felt pretty grown up until lately. So does this emotional lag only affect the KO sometimes? Is that part of the swiss cheese stuff too - where we have to go back and fill in the " holes " in our emotional development? Free
Guest guest
My fada was a bully also. Age? Not sure...definitely childish. My brothers suffered greatly. One is in therapy which is helping. The other who got the most abuse is in bad shape and may never have a normal life. Any more on BD fadas? Thanks FB > > > Hi all, > > > Anything on BP fathers? Of course we're more interested on this list in how you were affected by having a BPparent but could you describe some of the abuse your " other " brother got who is in " bad shape " , and how it affected him. - Edith
Guest guest
Edith, It's hard for me to say. I'm 10 years older than they. I'm going on what my/his brother said and my Mom. What he did to me is give me a distorted male image. I tend to marry or find men that have the same traits. This time I did good (joking) I found a BPDor traits of, bf! One of my problems according to my therapist is I see black and white...no grey areas with people. I'm trying to understandthis because I'm not like that with everyone...Just when arelationship gets stressed. I'm sure I'll find out a bunch more as time goes on FB > > > ...
