Guest guest
Edith and list, That's two of us in different locations, Melbourne, Auss. and Birmingham, Al asking for help in finding a therapist that understands issues of KO's. Guest guest
When I looked for a therapist, I happened to find a Jungian analyst who is also a Pediatrician. He understands KO issues because of his experiences working with children. That is why he chose to study at the Jung Institute. He told me how he deals with constipation in children. He prescribes a very mild laxative, essentially a placebo. The mother thinks something has been done and gets off the kid's case. Then the constipation eases up, because it was caused by the mother's controlling behavior. My mother was too clever to fall for that kind of thing, though. - Dan
Guest guest
Hi Dan, Ah, now your therapist is clever! I can respect that. Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I've been busy with baby, and organising moving house, and I'd completely missed this reply at the time. I don't think I can find a KO specialist around here so maybe a Jungian is the way to go. How did you find your's? AHS > When I looked for a therapist, I happened to find a Jungian analyst > who is also a Pediatrician.
