According to Shomon's site there was a letter writing campaign a few years ago to try to get her to do a show about Thyroid Disease that was not successful. She certainly has the potential to raise awareness, but I'd be concerned about the possibility of her having an 'endo parade' that might make us all cringe, spouting the usual stuff that kept us all sick. This is my fear. I almost don't want her to get on the bandwagon if this is the case. Ack!!But it'll be good to get people who might be suffering from this into doing research on their own and getting help if they hear her talking about similar symptoms. I work in a bookstore and I *know* first hand the almost creepy power this woman holds over the world. It's just bizarre! *g* Jul
