Guest guest
Jan, I will never forget the first time my mom slapped me last summer. Even though I knew it was the LBD, it still broke my heart. Today the skies are crying huge tears. Sometimes it helps my own flow. I will send prayers of strength for you. For Jim, I ask the Great Spirit of All to surround him with love and protection. Much love & concern, Betty
Guest guest
Jan, Thank you for telling us about Jim. I am so sorry that both of you are having to go through this on top of everything else. I did have to smile when you told us about the girl paramedic. It is amazing that you can still keep your sense of humor through it all! Please let us know how things are going when you have time. Sending you lots of hugs and much love, Piper
Guest guest
Hi Jan: Just logged on and found your message. Had to write before I turn in to let you know that I'm thinking of you and hoping that Jim settles and that whatever it is that's causing this new round of aggressive behaviour is prevented from manifesting so that you can have the OK not so easy but certainly unaggressive Jim back.\ Please keep us posted and please remember to take care of yourself - no one else is gonna do that for you. Guest guest
I do not think .. that I was able to tell the story of Liam's last days...I will try. We had had friends over for New Years Eve....I had them spend the night...The next AM I was making breakfast and asked Liam to join us...he did not wish to....finally he agreed to after I said that he needed to take his medicatioins and food was an imperitive... It was 12 noon and he decide to go back to bed. I asked if he felt that we could go on the cruise he so wishe to take.......he sais no The next AM he had an MRI scheduled so I went to waken him and there he was stark naked saying that he was ill. I asked if he wished me to dress him and he said yes... I drove him to the hospital and after nine hours he was admitte He was in a semi private room and the man in the next bed was angry because Liam wanted to go to the bathroom and tthe nurse did not arrive in time. We had him moved to a private room near the nurses station. That evening he gave me a very tough time...I was attempting to tell him that theywere going to use restraints if he did not keep trying to get out of bed.....he told me that it was not the nurses but that i wa s trying to get him in restraints.....I left in tears. The next AM a nurse called me and Liam asked if I wishes to go home.....I said I was at home and he said then come pick me up I replied that there were tests scheduled his response was OK. W When I arrived at the hospial he was shaking they a had given him atavin times two At this point they moived hi to ICUd > >Reply-To: LBDcaregivers >To: LBDcaregivers >Subject: Re: Jim in Hospital >Date: Sat, 28 Feb 2004 05:08:22 -0000 > >Hi Jan: > >Just logged on and found your message.
