Dear Carol--

Mine got really bad when my levels were bad. I don't

know if it was caused by the DHEA imbalance, the

thyroid issue, the B12 anemia, the iron anemia or the

genetic anemia (whose name I can never remember), but

there was a point where all I heard in a quiet room

was " EEEEEEEEEE. " Especially in my left ear. This

made trying to sleep at night a whole lot of fun.

When it was at its worst, I ran a fan at all times.

The nature machine on my alarm clock helped as well.

At this point, it has mostly stopped. The only time

it seems to act up these days is when either I am

agitated or my sinuses are blocked. Haven't had much

of either.

Also, my mother has a genetic hearing loss condition

that started with tinnitus. I was afraid this was the

beginning of developing her condition. It seems not

to be, but when I can afford it, I will get tested.

My heart goes out to y'all on this one. Tinnitus is a

bear. Did you know Tony Randall had tinnitus? He was

the spokesperson for people with this condition.

Best--

Courtenay.
