Guest guest Posted August 11, 2006 Report Share Posted August 11, 2006 Hi Everyone, Of all the days of the year to return to Portland from New York City...it was yesterday. Affirmations went with us all the way from the emptying of lotions, creams, and water bottles, witnessing people give up expensive perfumes and lip-glosses just purchased, and the ONE Hour delay in New York. On to Chicago Midway airport and with hundreds of other people trying to find a place to sit or rest and a THREE Hour delay for us. We heard stories of people arriving at 10:00 AM and not leaving until 9:30pm. It is at times like this that Affirmations come to the rescue of mind, heart and spirit. We arrived in Portland at 11:30pm (original time of arrival was 9:30pm). The single word Affirmation on my lips as I opened the door to our home was, Thank you! I'm sure others had more harrowing experiences and I'm not ignoring the situation in the UK and sending positive energy out to ALL people.
