What were their first seizures like?

My daughter last summer had some episodes at night where in the morning she was

foggy and lost functional control a in weight bearing and balance. She was

usually dry in the morning but these nights she wet herself. By the time we got

her in for an EEG two episodes later it was only showing slowing and no seizure

activity. I was told that the only explanation was that she had a seizure and

they started her an Keppra. Since she started the keppra she gained daytime

bladder control.

I just feel out of sorts b/c as far as I know I have never seen a seizure of

hers. When she was little she had leg spasms and I mentioned this to the doctor

and they said they were just muscle spasms. She was acting normal during this

time.

How did you find out about the night time seizures? I tried taping her but

didn't really see anything obvious.

Do you notice a typical behavior prior to an oncoming seizure? I just feel so

uninformed.

ps. My daughter did have mood issues but the docs added B6 and that really

helped.
