Guest guest
Hi Dear. Your best bet is to talk to a geneticist unless they've found another reason for you daughter's PMG like CMV during pregnancy or some such. I have a 13 year old son with high functioning Aspergers. I waited ten years (and another partner ) before I had my 2nd child, my 3 year old with Bilateral PMG. Nothing was ever found for the reason but there are several sequences that are beleived to be connected, rare and a sub-type, previously unidentified type of PMG under study. I hear it is rare to have a 2nd child with PMG but there is so much diversity with it and so few people studying the underlying causes you may never get the anwers you seek. In the end, follow your heart. If you cannot stand the thought of having another special needs child due to not having the resources, patience, whatever to care for one, than do not. If in the end, it doesn't matter either way, go for it. Every life is precious and cherished. My 2 cents.
