Guest guest
Dear Robin, We live in the Sarasota/Bradenton area and have a religious exemption. It was really easy to get. We had to state the name of our " church " and it didn't seem to matter what we wrote (there was no list of acceptable ones). It was all just " you filled in all the blanks? Good. Here you go. " Impersonal and routine. (I sure was nervous though!) I've used it at 2 preschools: at a small one, we were treated horribly! As if my son was a germ bag and as if we were religious, unpatriotic freaks or something. I couldn't believe it, wasn't prepared for such hostile treatment, and even tho I was glad to see their true colors early on, it took me a long time to get over it. The 2nd preschool we visited was large, professional, and accredited by this and that. They had no reaction to our exemption except they were glad we had all our paperwork available should we wish to enroll. Feel free to email me privately. I have a dd that will be 6 this month and a dd that is 2.5. Does anyone live in FL and if so have you experienced any problems or successes? I feel like a chicken because I don't really belong to any religious group to feel like I can justify claiming religious exemption.

Harper In case you think I'm being callous, bear in mind that his intentions are good but that, in the past, he hasn't had a clue. For my 30th birthday (long ago), neighbors gave a very elegant dinner party for several of our friends, and I wore something slinky. At the table, my husband handed me a beautifully wrapped box, just about the size to hold a bracelet. I opened it -- and there was a plastic egg timer. He honestly thought that was a great 30th birthday gift. After all, the week before, I'd complained about the kitchen not having any kind of timer or clock in it. Oh, well, all those friends and neighbors are long-ago divorced, and we're still together and enjoy each others company enormously. But -- I buy my own gifts, just in case he doesn't get around to it. This year he tried to go Christmas shopping for me on Christmas Eve. He was truly amazed that stores were closed or out of stock. We wrap all the family gifts on Christmas morning in brown paper bags, putting funny drawings and puzzles and clues on them. He's always curious to see what he's given me for Christmas. Guest guest
Tee Hee, Harper, you're so fun!! I had an experience with my husband like your egg-timer gift. He asked a friend of mine what to get me for my birthday, and she said these seamtress scissors, I wanted something more personal. He couldn't get me scissors so he bought me grass clippers, guys you gotta love them. Guest guest
That might work, except I would be thrown in jail for the rest of my life for indecent exposure around children!!!!! Actually, the AC is used as a bypass knob. Another teacher and I turn it on and she will go out and turn it off. Once, last year, the secretaries told her it HAD to stay on because the unit also serves the office too, and she had better not mess with the secretaries!!! She left it on for a week before she turned it off again! debby Re: [ ] Digest Number 2210 In a message dated 4/13/02 11:24:21 AM Pacific Daylight Time, writes: The biggest problem is that the AC doesn't work well in our class. Guest guest
i had candidiasis from my wheat and sweetened lemonade " based " diet. i self-diagnosed on account of an oily accumulation on my body hairs, however it has been determined that i have cured my candidiasis and that the accumulations are not related, simply my 'active' oil glands. therefore, my candidiasis had no external symptoms. oc with the sugar-rich poor diet, i had leaky gut and a constant yeasty smell. on a bicycle commute myself, i don't think you will have too much difficulty ridding it once your diet kicks in if my experience is anything to go by. a short while after making dietary alterations, i was enjoying a turkish cigar when i hoofed up a mysterious white mass; tobacco being something i rarely take. for me, i think eliminating sugar was the key. good luck to you all! i am now candidiasis free! :) -- go and get synthedit! don't pay to make music! http://home.earthlink.net/~plattermatic http://www.panicnow.net/~xoxos Message: 7 Date: Wed, 3 Mar 2004 09:03:11 -0800 From: " Steve Knight " <stevek@...> Subject: new here and I can use some info. I seem to have Candida though I should get a test for it. I have quite a few of the symptoms and the reason for having it. I just don't have anything growing on the outside (G) After some searching to see what foods not to eat and getting some kefir grains (using regular kefir right now) Ok are there any natural or medial treatments that will speed things along? In my search I found al to of herbal sites making claims. Some meds that would work but I was never sure if it was for external problems or internal. Is whey based protein powder ok? I find I need al to of protein right now to keep from getting tired fast on my 20 mile bike commute. I have been somewhat low carb for awhile and would only eat grains once a week or so. But that has to stop because they really cause problems. Well atleast wheat does. Should I be making the kefir from goats milk?

Guest guest
My weigh in's are every Saturday and sometimes on Sunday. Last week my aunt came visiting on Friday so I know that I was bloated. However I still cut down to 271.1. That was a loss of 1.3 lbs from the prior week and a loss of 5 1/2 lbs since I started almost 1 month ago. I do want to share with you though the favorite thing that I have found from eating healthier. My skin is softer and not as lumpy. I like how my legs feel. I know that is weird but I couldn't help but share. I did get up early this morning and go walking. I'm going to make myself do a weight workout here after I do a little computer work and eat my apple. One thing that I know I need to do as a goal over the next month is keep track of my eating and the times I eat. This is something that will be hard for me as I'm on the run an aweful lot. Will give it a good try though as I figure that is critical for me to continue to loose weight. We have a challenge going on at work and whoever looses the biggest percentage of weight over a 12 week period wins the money pot which will amount to about $200. I figure that will be a good way to pay for vacation. As of next weekend we will be 1/3 the way through. I would like to loose a total of 10% and right now I'm at 2%.
