Yes i can send money but it takes a while for them to get it then i heard about this women close to were i work that was tring to fill a truck with hampers and clothes and toys blankets pillows etc.. the thought of sleeping on second hand pillows and sheets just makes me feel sick so i thought RIGHT thats what i am going to do called my boss and said I will be late and DSW is going to donate as well, I went to Kmart and bought pillows sheets doonas Big girls clothes Big mens clothes shoes shampoo face wash face creams hair brushes hair dryers ( i would be lost with out my hair dryer lol) and took it all over the people were so excitted and it ends up that this ladies sister lost everything and she was in tears with the stuff i took over,and wow the amount of stuff that she had was unreal! Guest guest Posted February 11, 2009 Report Share Posted February 11, 2009 Elaine we had the bush fires on xmas day a few yrs ago and that feeling of not knowing if u have a house or have nothing is just something i would hope we will never have to deal with again, We were lucky the fire left us alone but took out 4 houses in our street, as my mum said last night all those feelings of what happened yrs ago just come back and its just something little i can do to help out.
