Wondering about devrom...kind of yucky subject

I have had a recent bout of diarrhea. Not that my eating is worse than ever,

but I'm kind of in a yucky place. NOTHING sounds good except chicken breast

and beef.(Oh! and red lobsters shrimp scampi!) anyway to help the diarrhea,

I've found that immodium is next to useless. So I started taking pepto 3 or 4

swigs a day. It does nothing for gas or odor, well, maybe the gas is a little

less often. But the odor is still there. But I'm having more formed poops.

Strange for me. My question is this as the active ingredient in devrom is the

same as pepto, do those of you who take that med have cramping with BM's or

is this a thing with me? Maybe my body has forgot what it is like to actually

have to push a BM out(sorry if TMI....LOL) I don't reckon that long term pepto

bismol use is dangerous....I'm assuming I won't turn pink(Like eating too

many carrots makes you orange!)...LOL. But it is making my poop this funky

green black and weird looking. So if anyone has any idea of how to get you

taste back for foods that aren't chicken or beef please tell me because my

family

would appreciate it, They are sick of broiled chicken breast and not much

else and when I'm not hungry I tend to not cook... Because you know if I'm not

hungry, well then I think nobody is. Boy, it's a good thing my kids are old

enough to make their own food or work and drive to taco bell....LOL.
