Subject: I'm a new member!

Hi, my name is ! I'm 19, almost 20 and from Iowa. I am currently a freshman at the University of Iowa. My story is: I was born w/a liver disease called Bilaria Atresia and had a transplant when I was 8 yrs. old, I was doing great except for a minor rejection in 6th grade, then in 11th grade, so I was almost 18, I was diagnosed w/Auto Immune Hepatitis, I was in and out of the hospital about 7 times in one year and switched my main anti rejection drug twice. I am doing alright..but they are keeping a close watch on me. I sorta stumbled across this support group while doing research and decided to join...I'm not familar w/these online groups..so forgive me if i seem very new to this. Thanks for listening! I'm glad I am here!

Welcome, . This is a good place to exchange information and discuss concerns. We're glad to hear from you.

Dear Bert;

Please don't give up on this group. You were the first one to respond

to me when I just joined recently. You are a very special person. You do

make a difference in this group. Hope you are feeling better. A group is

only as good as its members!

Fondly........LamiceNY
