Guest guest
Believe it or not, Aunt Jemima's Original Mix for Pancakes/WAffles are Dairy Free, Whey Free and don't seem to both my daughter or I. Guest guest
Barb, I use the Bisquick Mix and use Soy Milk instead of eggs. My son LOVES the Bisquick Pancakes. Mindy breakfast foods. Dr. Goldberg just told me to stop giving the kids leggo homestyle waffles, due to a high eosophinol count (4.2). He rec'd a mix or to make it from scratch. Does anyone have a mix that they use or waffles or pancakes that they make from scratch which they've had success with? I'd love to be able to use a mix, but I could also make them from scratch. I thought maybe I could make them up ahead and then pop them in the toast in the a.m. Barb ps: My kids have turned their noses up in the past to homemade versions, so anything that tastes most like the leggo brand would probably work the best. ===== Barb Katsaros barbkatsaros@... Guest guest
Aunt mixes are about the most hypoallergenic I've found (with a son on an almost " no food " diet, lol) Dairy, gluten, corn, egg, soy free. The pancake mix has white rice flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, xantham gum, baking soda, and baking powder. They are a bit chewier than wheat waffles, though. www.auntcandicefoods.com good luck, Becky breakfast foods. > > > Dr. Goldberg just told me to stop giving the kids > leggo homestyle waffles, due to a high eosophinol > count (4.2). Guest guest
Thanks to all for your suggestions. I'm going to the store tomorrow. I will be trying some mixes and making some from scratch. --- & Becky <beckeric@...> wrote: > > Aunt mixes are about the most hypoallergenic > I've found (with a son > on an almost " no food " diet, lol) > Dairy, gluten, corn, egg, soy free.
