Guest guest
Yes there are 2 anti virals on the market and they are used for herpees. The first is Famvir and another company has put out Valtrex. The other names for the same med is Valcyclavir and Acyclavir. cooky Lee wrote: > Hallo all, > > Now don't laugh, but I was watching the X-files the other day ( :I > ) and Mulder was given a course of " anti-virals " . Guest guest
Dianne For cold sores on the mouth try Tea Tree Oil or Eucalyptus Oil. For O's --- For flu bugs try Elderberry anything, liquid, capsules, juice or wine. Elderberry stops the life cycle of the virus - or something like that. I also use Olive leaf with it for the immune system and to fight the possible bacteria infection that so ofter follows a flu. You should start Immediately upon exposure to virus. So Not wait until you are 'sick' to start treatment. Guest guest
This looks like a good product, but Echinacea can only be given one week or ten days at the most a month. Guest guest
Yes - i use this when I'm actually coming down wiht something or when I have somethign that is very stubborn. It works like a regular antibiotic, in that you really shoudl continue to take it until it is gone. I think it is a 10 day course. Hi , Here are some good msgs from Andy: http://onibasu.com/archives/am/133461.html /message/129419 I don't think he mentions Virastop/Purify from Enzymedica but many people seem to think it's helpful. What do people in general think of Viracin? P.S. I thought the Purify viral protocol was doing nothing for my daughter but added it back recently on top of olive leaf extract. Now she's got lots of bug-bite like marks on the right side of her chest and had some diarrhea. I think these are characteristic for " breaking " a virus, right? Perhaps you take this when you feel you are coming down with something? I tried Echinacea ONCE. I had the beginnings of a cold, and I took Echinacea one evening to help eliminate the cold. It kept me awake all night. I mean literally I slept a grand total of ZERO minutes, even tho I must have taken 3 doses of NyQuil [which typically puts me out]. The next day I was soooooo much worse, because I had zero sleep. The next night I took olive leaf extract. This worked GREAT. Be careful of Echinacea. Guest guest
Margaret, Lauricidin is known to work on the measles virus. However, I am a big believer in the " throw everything that you can at them " antiviral protocol approach. That is, if I thought I were dealing with the measles virus (as, in fact, I think I am, in part) I would use Lauricidin, but with other antivirals as well. No one understands what viruses are really at work in our children. And, in spite of some knowledge of how certain antivirals work, no one really understands that completely either. I think it best to cut the widest path possible through the viruses using as many antivirals with different mechanisms as you can. Also important in my books is using immune boosters, and having them in place first. Lots of people are having success with lots of different things, but IMO, those who are having success using just one antiviral simply got very, very lucky, and these cases don't translate well to the majority of kids. For example, IMO I think that some kids who have done very well with just Valtrex might be reacting mostly to the fact that Valtrex can lower adenosine levels (nothing to do with viruses). For every one kid you see doing very well with Valtrex, you can find many, many more for whom Valtrex has done little to nothing. Some of this information is in the viral file I placed in the Files section. It may be of help, but in all honesty, this is not a well- worn path yet. Guest guest
According to Chia MD and virologist who treats CFS, there is quite a difference between antivirals aboutmecfs.org.violet.arvixe.com/Int/IntChiaIntro.aspx that treat the herpes virus (included CMV and EBV) and other antivirals. He uses the medical and herbal products that treat hepatitis and HIV
