Guest guest
First of all, I'm sorry about not being around much lately, a lot has been going on. Last weekend I spent both Saturday and Sunday in Delano Regional Medical Center's ER because of a possible Bowel Obstruction. On Saturday, the doctor swore that it wasn't a BO that it was just severe Constipation and that she gave me an instant cure for it. She gave me a death wish I think, wow. And even sent me home with an Enema. Needless to say, I found a hotel with one room open. I got lucky. I came home the next day and was having the same problems, however, I tried to get my prescriptions filled and couldn't. My ER DR didn't put the strength of one of my meds and didn't sign and date it. I was slightly upset about this. Since I wasn't doing any better and was advised to come back, I got more stuff together and headed back down there for another longer visit. This doctor I had a real issue with. He just told me that nothing was wrong at all, just that I was obese. He actually put that in my diagnosis. Anyhow, they didn't even contact DR. K at anytime that I was there. I notified them every time and nothing. He was very upset about this. I had an appointment with him the following Wednesday. In fact, it was Dee that had told me to go to the ER that weekend. When I saw DR. K on Wednesday and he saw all of my ER Reports he admitted me right into the hospital. He said that he was afraid of what might not have been seen. He wanted to do the EGD and Upper GI. I was in severe pain and the nausea was almost unbearable. My poor boyfriend feels helpless. So once in the hospital, my parents and boyfriend arrived and told me how terrible I looked. I was a pale as a ghost. I felt like I was going to pass out. My pain level and nausea was through the roof. My boyfriend was staying the night with me and that kindly calmed the nerves some. The next day they did the EGD and found a Hiatal Hernia and found that the opening to my poutch is as big as a grapefruit. Also, I have a severe case of Gastritis and I was severely dehydrated. I was in really bad shape. Even now I can't hardly eat or drink anything without getting really sick to my stomach. I'm still vomiting a lot. The pain is still unbearable and I spend a lot of time in bed. I'm well on my way to having the DS. I've went through all of my steps EXCEPT the PSYCH. I go to him on Wednesday. He's my last step. Then we have to deal with the insurance. That's always the fun part. Onto the next part of my problem. As most of you know, I have a severe bladder disease (IC, or Interstitial Cystitis). It's really acting up on me right now. It's to the point to where I almost can't urinate. I went back to my Urologist and well I have surgery again on my bladder this coming Tuesday. I'm very nervous. They are going to go back in and hydrolically stretch my bladder. The procedure in itself isn't painful as I'm under anesthesia, however, I have some major bladder spasms afterwards that are extrememly painful. Anyhow, just thought some of you might be wondering what was going on with me. I hope to talk to you all soon. Hope all is well with everyone. Love ya, Dani

I have had two similar things happen since my DS and was given an antispasmotic which helped resolve things. I pray they find an answer for you...this is no fun at all.
