Guest guest
We have been very fortunate that has never had a bad reaction to the flu shot and he has been getting them for 9 years now.  Subject: Flu Shot and Seizures To: polymicrogyria Date: Monday, October 25, 2010, 5:49 PM  Hi Everyone - I need advice on getting our kiddos the flu shot. My daughter has grand-mal seizures usually assoicated with being sick and a fever spiking. She is not on any seizure meds. I am nervous that the flu shot might bring on a seizure but, I am also nervous that getting the actual flu may be hard on her as well. Any advice? Thanks, Alison (Mom to Stella 2 yrs old, bi-lateral PMG, Left hemi CP, fever seizures)

Guest guest
Hi my daughter is 22 months and has PMG with fever induced drop seizures. I was also concerned about the flu shot but opted to get it. For about a day and a half afterward I put her on a fever reducer like motrin just in case the shot caused any fevers. She was fine and had no reactions. Good luck with your little one;) Sent from my iPhone
