Guest guest
Alison, My grand-daughter Lindsey, who is 8 years old with severe PMG/seizures, has gotten the flu shot for about 4 years now. No side effects. Her neurologist at the Children's Hospital in Chicago advised ALL of his patients get it. Especially the ones with severe neuralgic disabilities. Blessings, Bonnie Subject: Flu Shot and Seizures To: polymicrogyria Date: Monday, October 25, 2010, 6:49 PM  Hi Everyone - I need advice on getting our kiddos the flu shot. My daughter has grand-mal seizures usually assoicated with being sick and a fever spiking. She is not on any seizure meds. I am nervous that the flu shot might bring on a seizure but, I am also nervous that getting the actual flu may be hard on her as well. Any advice? Thanks, Alison (Mom to Stella 2 yrs old, bi-lateral PMG, Left hemi CP, fever seizures)
