Guest guest
" I lack compassion for myself because I'm at war with my thoughts. " Jan I'm enjoying Mona's posts of Kt's Ways to Peace, because they " give permission " for a therapeutic approach. When I dialogued with some inner parts the other week, young 3yr old Tim did not wish to dialogue with his rapist father, in fact he wanted his father out of there, now. He didn't want revenge, just that his father was completely somewhere away from him. And I can totally understand and respect that. To have an 'ideal' thought of who we should be is nothing but self-hate, disguised as spirituality. When we pretend to be who we are not, when we go beyond our evolution, when we even desire to be at peace in the present when we're not, and not have thoughts and feelings we do have, that's Hating What Is. Arrogance. And that's fine, because desiring not to be arrogant is more arrogant! Guest guest
Dear Tim: Very perceptual! Thank you for sharing these insights. Yes, the 21 Ways to Peace are quite helpful. By the way, they have been posted out under Files for the past two years for all to look at or download (plus a lot of other neat documents). Happy Holidays and Love to you, Tim Steve D. > " I lack compassion for myself because I'm at war with my thoughts. Glad you liked the post, Steve, and thanks for the pointer to more from Kt, I'll check them out soon. I didn't write my last post - an intelligence (not mine) wrote it, why or how I have no idea!
