Guest guest
Hi my name is Kim and I have a son Nikolas.. a soon to be thirteen year old with bilateral but very asymmetric PMG . I noticed at 4 months he was not using his right hand to grab toys. So I brought it up to his peds doctor. At 8 months I found out he was deaf. But I believed he could hear before as he would get startled and cry at loud sounds before 8 months. He had his first and only seizure at 1 1/2 years old but was told it was due to a high fever. Nik is a very active boy he plays baseball, football , is a master at figuring out electronics and video games. He is slower at development but was walking at 4yrs old and uses small amounts of sign language to communicate. He has right sided cp and no seizures.
