Guest guest
Rice can be a challenge - but pasta is out for me! I eat brown rice, and white rice with no troubles and I am uber-restricted atm. Honestly everyone is different... Mazz has a 3 strikes and you're out rule - its a good one. As long as things are nice and mushy at this stage you will be okay, have your strog with mash, mix it thru - go for maximum nutrient dense foods that you can manage because you are hardly eating anything. Guest guest
AtrayuOverfills are horrendous... so yes come back slowly. You have perhaps got some swelling in the stomach still, so even tho you are back on solids just make them mushy solids for another day at least. I know you dont want this to happen again in the future, so it is really best to go slowly with fills when you are reaching capacity. Because its the slightest fraction that is the difference between a nice level of restriction and another episode like yours - been there and done that too! Arrgh, the memories. My tip tho, is to suck on an icy pole if you are thirsty and cant swallow. I used to have those hydrolyte icy poles in the freezer and found them to be excellent when I was very tight and waiting for a smidge out. Guest guest
Yes, it can be horrendous, frustrating and also very satisfying when the weight does start to go in the right direction. Keep going for small fills... little by little is the way to go in my opinion, to try and not have the overfill problem. Hang in there, things will get better as you get into the swing of it all. Met two girls on the weekend at the Gold Coast who have french bands. They are not stitched to the stomach, and the port is floating. Interesting! One of the girls is going to keep my updated with her progress and how the fills go. She is from Brisbane... must ask who did her surgery. It is an interesting concept.
