Almost 3 years ago I had a mammogram [the first one in over 10 years - bad] and it should some problems. Off I went to the radiologist who did a needle biopsy. By that after noon, he had called me and told me there was no indication of cancer. What they saw and biopsied was a " radial scar. " I think it happened when I was in the worst of my 9 automobile accidents. [And, no, I never got a ticket; the other person did.] I had made myself virtually sick from worry, when I should have been thinking positively. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a positive outcome for you. {{{And Angel Kisses}}} Carol " In the little decisions of life, use your mind; in the big decisions, use your heart. Guest guest
That's great news Marti!! I once ran out of my DHEA for just a few days...forgot to order soon enough from WIP. Only when I went to bed at night I would feel my heart beat really hard. Didn't like it at all. I haven't missed a pill since and haven't had that happen again. Good for you, glad you're feeling well. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to give an update. I am almost 3 years out and everything is going well. In the past year I have gained 10 pounds but am up and down 2 to 3 pounds. However, I woke up this morning with a 5 pound weight loss overnight. I hope nothing is wrong. I wanted to share what I found out. I used to have horrible issues with gas. I wrote to the list several times to try to get ideas about what was causing the gas. I cut out all flour and stuff like that. But, the gas issues persisted. Then, about a month ago I was reading in my health book and it said that artificial sweetners cause gas. So, I eliminated all foods I was eating that had any type of artificial sweetner. I was eating a lot of sugar free protein bars while I was in class at school. So, I cut out these foods and now my gas problems are almost completely gone. It's all quiet on the homefront, no problems with gas anymore and I am thrilled. If I have gas, it is the normal, once in a while deal just like before surgery. I will see Dr. K for my three year check-up in a few months. I hope everything is okay. I feel good and I am happy with everything about this surgery. I just hope that I can maintain this weight loss and not keep gaining each year. I have been walking and eating healthy and keeping the weight the same for the most part. But, I have read that after 3 years, it might get harder. Anyhow, I hope all is well with everyone. I just finished reading the 400 emails I had in this email box. I am in school and I didn't check this email for a few weeks since it isn't my primary account. However, yahoo was messing up and sent a bunch of repeats, lol. Take care. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
, Thanks for the update. It sounds like you are doing great! The gas thing, well, I never or rarely eat diet foods so I didn't think of that. Good thing you posted that, I bet it helps a lot of people. Guest guest
So sorry to read you have shingles. I had it at the beginning of the year. It took days before it showed on the outside and I was freaking out over the intense pain. It was about a month before it was gone. The doctor said you can only get it once but I figured only somebody with my problems would get it again. Of course I am in a mood about doctors and how helpful they are. Hope you feel better soon. > > Hi, > > My doctor recently went on a vacation, so since he was helping me > with pain management, I decided to make another visit a bit sooner > than I would normally. Guest guest
Hi Kulia, it’s good to hear from you! But, not so good to hear that you have done that thing and crashed. It’s so HARD to not overdo when we get those notorious good days! One has to be so very patient while crawling back out of that hole. Do try and get massage if it helps you, perhaps you could barter for one. I used to do this before the big relapse, and rarely paid for bodywork. Anyway I wish you well, quite literally, or at least that you are feeling much better, very soon. XOX Aylwin
Guest guest
Good Advise, Alwyn. I thought CFS is the same as ME. What is MCI? I know after my neighbors who didn't know I had a health condition, encouraged me to ride my bike a few miles stating that it's mostly downhill after you walk your bike past the first hill. This was years ago, I was meeting my son who went to church with the neighbors and I was a bit on a MCS and CFS upswing (ooooh dangerous!!). So I got all jazzed and rode that bike down hill mostly but then ended up with sinusitus for years in full swing. I'm happy to report my sinusitus has been nill for the past month since I gave up bike riding for the past year but the fatigue, headache, irritability, anxiety, pain, and depression is in upswing. Oh well can't have it all. Got to have a sense of humour with this. Thank you Alwyn Sweetie! Love you!!! And thanks to Sandrea and Lou for their great contributions to caring and helping on this group and everyone for just getting the energy up to open and read our posts.~Kulia > > Morning Kulia, well it really depends on what you have or what combo….MCS of > itself does not prevent the capacity for exercise (and its positive > effects), but if you have ME it's a very different story.
