Guest guest
I know three of the doctors... Gross and Brown will do the bio-identical, but in my opinion know ZILCH about thyroid, though they would RX Armour. I also know Salvato. She did not decrease my Armour even though TSH was low, but she believes it is my ATP that causes the low thyroid, but her tablets did nothing for me. In my opinion, she does not understand thyroid the way it is expressed here. But she might be the closests. She does do bio-identical hormones, and I didn't even have to ask. She also will do compounded thyroid. --- mylilsuzyqs wrote: > This list of Houston drs was taken out of the Womens > International > pkg. They are drs who prescribe bio identical > hormones. Guest guest
Jan that was me. I have seen both Dr. Pharo and Dr. Grose. Dr. Grose said my numbers were " perfect " and would not consider upping my dose based on symptoms. Though she did prescribe hydrocordisone and bioidentical hormones. I also saw Dr. Pharo about 8 years ago. She put me on Armour from Synthroid, but a VERY low dose because I was on estrogen? She said my numbers were off because of the hormones and didn't think the thyroid was that bad... but that was before I started learning anything. I quit seeing her when she refused to listen to me about some symptoms I was having. She kept telling me I had a stomach virus and it was going around, and well... no one I knew had it or got it... and it was a bad muscle issue... She may be different now, but just this year I had some email conversations with her, and she basically said she could help someone if they managed their stress... and if I wasn't willing to manage my stress it would be a waste of time. So... you make up your own minds. I'd rather " suffer " than be treated like I'm not trying. --- Jan wrote: > I will put the entire list in " Files.
