Guest guest
Well... I am half way through my first week of Craig living in another city in another country. I wake up every morning and cannot help but think I am not going to cope with three years of this. But I am sure we will get into the swing of it... and I keep thinking that he has it harder than me as he is on his own up there. Here I have my friends, my kids and the dog... and you guys to chat to here when I need to waffle about nothing in particular, like I am now. I am so looking forward to our outing tomorrow evening. I am out tonight too, no wonder I don't bloody loose weight ~ I just plain eat too much and have too much alcohol. I have to admit to having had a few drinks this week, sticking the voddie and soda which I am not sure is any better than the wine... who knows? I am out with the "gay divorcees" this evening, all my single friends... now I am one of them in a weird sort of way. I have been absolutely horrified by the bushfire situation in , so much so that I have dug clothes out that you people may well have got at the clothing swap coming up. I am posting them down to Pyretta and she is going to get them to the right place for me. There must be a need for "larger" clothes... bet everything they have been donated is for average people, not hefties like me. I am off to get a box tomorrow and pack it with what I hope can be used, including some dunlop volleys that I have that have never been worn. So much for me making any dosh on Ebay like I was planning to do... but I have need for nothing and those poor people are going to feel the worst of it yet. I think that many of them are still in shock. And then a bloke gets bitten by a shark in the harbour... what the hell is going on. Between floods, fires and sharks, this country is certainly getting the worst of it of late. Mel
Guest guest
Darn fine idea Mel! I DID read in one of the stories on news.com.au that they were looking for bigger sized clothing but in any case, I am sure they will be more than happy to have whatever you want to give.
