Welcome Janie,

My name is and I am 32 and have been in chronic pain

since the age of 20. I certainly know what it is like to be a woman

and have your pain and illness questioned by a doctor. Have you found

a good pain clinic? If not then you probably should. They are use to

treating chronic pain and neither of the ones that I have been to have

questioned my pain. One thing that I have found that helps with those

doctors that belittle my pain is bringing my husband with me. For

some reason doctors tend to take me more seriously if my husband is

with me.

I sure hope you can find some pain relief so you can enjoy those

grandkids of yours. I have two little ones ages 3 and 7 months and

know how you feel about being able to hardly move. A lot of my

mornings are like that!

Welcome,

> Hello, my name is Janie, and I'm new at this.I also have chronic

pain.Sometimes the doctors acts like the pain is all in your head.I

have days that I can't hardly move, but I have to make myself get up .I

have 5 grandkids and one on the way.I'm 46 and some days I feel like

96.Also I'm Judy's sister-in-law.I'm looking forward to talking to

everyone.....Janie

Hi...and welcome to the group!

It seems like you're enjoying the Loving What Is book. That's great! I'm glad

that using the four questions helped you already.

You're welcome to sit back and read what goes on here as far as I'm

concerned. You're also welcome to share your thoughts and Work with us any time

you'd

like. : )

I was able to read your post very clearly, so I think you're doing quite well

with your English!

It's nice to have you here, Friend.

Love.

I like what often says when someone " completes " a piece of work,

" That's a beginning. " And often in the middle of someone's inquiry,

she'll say, " We begin now. " Wherever I am, I'm always just beginning

with the next thing, whatever it is. From that standpoint, we're all

beginners.

I appreciate you being willing to use English here. My Swedish is not

nearly as good as your English (since I don't speak Swedish at all :).

And your English is fine.

Yes, that was my experience as well -- the work was helpful the very

first time I used it. This morning when I woke up, I realized I had

been doing the Work in my dream. :) I don't remember the topic of my

inquiry now, but I remember reflecting on turnarounds as I was waking

up.

Thank you for joining the list.

Thanks Judy, I'd be interested to hear how things go. I saw my 5th

endo last week and she told me that she prescribes only Synthroid, no

Armour. She said Armour is " unstable " and oftentimes " unsafe " . Huh?

She also said adrenals work, or they don't...there is no such thing

as " adrenal fatigue " . As the old saying goes, I'm so sick and tired

of being sick and tired I'm ready to spit nails. And cry. Or both.

I am going to order an adrenal saliva test and see what turns up.

Anyway, let me know how things turn out :)

Hi ,

You need another dr girl! If you go to www.womensinternational.com and

request their pkg, you can also request for a list of drs in your state

who prescribe bio identical hormones so once you receive your free pkg,

look at the sheet of drs in your state and call a few to see if any of

them also prescribe armour. It's worth a shot and probably your best

way to find a dr. You can also go to the Armour web site and type in

your zip code to find one in your area. We'll find you a dr! I have

ordered my saliva test from www.canaryclub.org

Hi :

I'm so sorry I am way behind in posts. I'm sure you've had your hearing and

how did it go?

I got a favorable decision.

Hello Lee,

I just wanted to thank you for your post. Of all days, today and

right now was when I needed to read it.

It is amazing how when the world, my family and friends abandon you

or make absolutely stupid comments to me, I run to this forum. It is

because I know that I will be greeted with compassion and LOVE that

is unconditional and true. We as a group, having this illness in

common unfortunately has afforded us to all be here at one time to

uplift each other where there is nowhere on this bloody earth that

can or will do that for us.

My sister from out of state emailed me because she needed something

from me but ended her post with asking me if I am having FUN with my

motorized chair. I might be sensitive but for gosh sakes! I told

her I am having as much fun as a disabled person with no life could

have and thanks for the well wishes.

I took my dog out today and cannot get my chair out of the house at

this point so I staggered outside with him. My neighbor who is

pregnant with her first pregnancy said " I saw you in your chair and

said to Rusty, Look there! I need that worse than she does! " This

broad is only a couple months along.

Where are these peoples brains?!? Are they so wrapped up in

themselves that there is no room for anyone else? If it took this

illness to bring me to a place in my life and more so on this forum

where showing love and compassion to another is the most important

thing to me....then I have truely gained something.

I have for as long as I can remember, desired to always help others

and expect nothing in return. I still am that person but I am now

unable to give my physical energy (which was what it took most times)

to another in need. For me it's sad because that is where my joy of

life was but at the same time I think, Why doesn't anyone else feel

that way? Where are they when I need a visit or a warm dish brought

over because I cannot cook most of the time etc. Nowhere.

Thankyou for caring to post and let us know your there if only

reading most of the time. Thankyou for reminding us that each one of

us is precious to each other and that what we have here in this forum

is something most in the world DON'T have and are too stupid to know

they are missing out!

I had better shuddup while I'm ahead but I do love all of you and

look forward to checking in each day to see how everyone is.

Warm Huggz back atchas! :)
