Oh - i forgot to add that Im glad you posted your ideas for traveling

with BFL and i would love to hear a " report " on it when you get

back.. what worked and what didnt, etc.

I am going to a training course (week long) in orlando in April. I am

going to be staying in a Springhill Suites (marriot chain) - they are

for the business traveler and have fridges and microwaves, so at

least i will be able to find a grocery store and stock up for the

week!

Wisconsin! Yeah! That's my home state! Wow! You are waaaayyy up

there, aren't you? Sounds like you are just there for work or

something. Cold, huh? Where's home?

Way to keep going on BFL while you are travelling!

  • 7 years later...

Thanks so much Leanne - I'm 7 days banded now and it seems to be getting a bit easier!

Your success astounds me - you're amazing! I have followed your journey for about the last 12 months - I'd love to meet you one day - you've been an inspiration, truly.

Back to sip, sip, sipping my water....

xxle

How exciting le

You have a wonderful maybe frustrating at times journey ahead of you

I think we are all nervous while we wait for the day to arrive

I look forward to hearing of all your successes and the occasional frustration too cause we all have them

You will achieve your dreams just be patient and know the first few weeks can be a trial but eventually

You will get to the place your happy and excited about

This is a lovely group with lots of support

Hi Everyone,

I am getting banded on 17th September 2009 - very nervous and scared but excited too.

I'd love to have some 'face to face' contact with other successful 'banders'.

I really hope I can come to the next social outing - have so much to still learn about my future life - even though I've been researching this now for 3 years!!!

Hello le

Congratulations Hun and welcome to the dark side

Today is my 2 year anniversary and I was just thinking how much my life has changed

I was just finishing my walking for the day....I now do 10 kilometers daily on the tready

And I thought to myself wow 2 years ago I needed to use the aircraft lift to exit the plane when it arrived

In Hobart as I was so immobile I couldn't get down the steps...how things have changed

And they will change for you too and for all of those on this wild journey

So when the road gets a bit rocky and you get down or frustrated please never give up

Always go seek someone to talk to or this group there is always someone around

I wish you heaps of happy days ahead and boy you will have some great NSV's to look forward to

I also want to thank all the folk in this group who are always here to give support and a cyber hug when we need them

And also on the end of the fone when some of us panic rofl

Thank you people and have a wonderful day

Hugs to all

Leeanne
