People's reactions to mosquito bites are highly variable, but my

understanding is that it is an allergy of sorts.a common one. If you have

anaphylactic allergies, I would play it safe next time and take an

antihistamine. You could try a homeopathic first. My ex (basically healthy)

gets huge welts that last for weeks. I get few bites (and don't live where

it's bad), but they go away in about 15 minutes! Lucky me.a little benefit
