Hello,

Today is C1W9D1. I did my W8 assessment over the weekend, and I'm

actually feeling pretty good, although there are some questions.

My body fat % (caliper) was 18.9%, versus 26.5% on Day 0. My scale

weight was 211 lbs, vs. 220 initially. This implies an 18.4 lbs drop

in body fat and an increase in lean mass of 9.4 lbs. Not bad!

I bought a pair of 34 " " incentive pants " , and was able to zip them up

all the way, although they are way too tight to wear comfortably. I

started C1 at 38 " , and have been wearing 36 " pants for a few weeks

now.

I took photos, but I may take them again tomorrow. I made the

mistake of taking them in the evening, rather than my usual morning

photos. I look somewhat " bloated " , nearly as bad as Day 0 and worse

than Day 28 (week 4). It was right after a larger (although " legal " )

meal. I don't feel it was a true picture (at least I hope not!) ;-)

I will post them one way or another this week.

I have been trying to up the intensity on all my workouts this past

week, adding 10 lbs. to all muscle groups/sets, and increasing my

treadmill incline and speed. I think I'd been " coasting " a bit in

weeks 6 and 7, and it contributed to my plateau. I ended week 8

strong, though, and have high hopes for 9 to 12.

I also began using CLA, BetaGen and BetaLean HP about a week ago, and

they seem to be helping as well. I am tolerating the BetaLean just

fine, and it really does help my energy levels. (Sorry MP, and I'd

warn anyone thinking of trying it to be careful and build up

gradually, just in case.)
