Guest guest
Has anyone used Alteer on parallels? It does not run well, and is unsupported on Vista. It utterly does not work in the Virtual PC of Vista (loaded with XP-SP2) My doc and PA are mercilessly beating the snot out of the gateway Tablet PCs I bought them. Before they die (the computers, not the people), I am thinking swapping them out with some sort of a tank of a laptop that will withstand abuse. I am thinking Macs, or linux with wine (windows emulator). There are some hardcore linux laptops that you can drive nails with... I have never met a MAC person, who would not bodily threaten you, if you took their MAC away. And you know how mac people are, kinda milk-toasty, so that says a lot.... it is disheartening to hear how a mac runs windows better then an intel PC. Anybody I miss, not having signed up on the new Alteer email list? http://mail.nova.org/mailman/listinfo/alteer -tom sharkinn wrote: , Amazingly, I was JUST reading some old posts about AC, and saw that Brand uses (and likes) it on Mac.
