Guest guest
Good, I'm glad. I think weekends are busy for just about everybody. My husband and I spend about every other weekend at my in-laws' house (they rent a house on an 800-acre working cattle ranch -- it's a really charming country house built in the 1930's ). It's very relaxing down there. The owners have a pool (which is sometimes clean enough to swim in), 4 dogs, 2 horses, and innumerable cows that sometimes "greet" us as we drive up the gravel road to the house -- often by blocking the road until we drive slowly toward them and they move out of the way. We're going down there this afternoon and staying until tomorrow afternoon, because they're in Singapore until tomorrow and we've agreed to water the plants. I love the country. I would live down there if there were any jobs to be had.I am also looking forward to meeting everybody (or at least everybody who shows up ). It's great to be able to put faces to usernames. I'm sure some will be able to come to every meeting, and others to every other meeting. That's why I want to have them monthly -- the more opportunities we have to meet, the better, IMHO. ~Chelle>> That sounds great. Weekends are just real busy for me since I have a 5 year old and we do our own home remodeling, so the shorter the drive the better. Looking forward to finally meeting everyone.
