I day trade stocks quite often and I watch the market via the internet and

watching CNN FN all day most every day! My wife says it would drive her

insane....hey I'm already there! She woks for a major health insuarance

carrier as a senior marketing consultant. Even she doesnt know the other side

of the coin...........remember all coins have two sides!!!!!!!!!!

Heres the skinny.....The reason US pharmaceuiticals are so expensive and why

they get away with what they are charging is I'd wager all ( I KNOW OF QUITE

health insurance companies own a large amount of pharmaceuitical stock!!!!!

They

buy it to offset their own cost in having to pay at the pharmacy when people

they cover go to buy their meds!! They also own alot of phamacy stocks!!

Conflict of interest...? or just smart business..? Believe it gets alot

deeper than that......Stocks..

Reasearch and Devolopment Firms, Advertising Firms, Chemical Companies

ETC!!!!!!

The Federal Trade Commission hasnt done their job in years in my opinion!!!!!

Has Microsoft been split?NO! THEY HAVE TO MUCH MONEY!....AND LOOK WHAT

HAPPENED

OOPS! Sorry I got on a roll off the chronic pain trail. Guys US

pharmaceuiticals arent going to change.....It would kill the US stock

market....As if the market could get much worse right now! HAHA

Bottom line is we are increasingly entering a global market on eveything from

toothbrushes to semi conductor chips..WHY NOT PHARMACEUITICAL PRESCRIPTIONS

FILLED FROM GLOBAL ENTITIES! Thats the only way to slowly bring the US back

down to earth on the pricing. Get a prescription in North Carolina (where I'm

at) and have it filled from Bangcock????? If it has to be Canada or Mexico

right now.... THATS A START!!! Everything has to start somewhere!
