Guest guest
Medical treatment and ABA work and can heal your daughter. The good news is you got the diagnosis early so after you get her body healed, you won't have as much to teach her with ABA. My son is seventeen and no one can tell he ever had Autism. is now in high school. He is in three AP classes, drives, wants to ask a girl to homecoming and has dreams of going to Stanford. The really scary part is that is smart enough to get in to Stanford and then I have to find a way to pay for it. Autism isn't what you see in the movie, Rainman. Dr. Goldberg and Dr. believe it is a result of an immune dsyfunction that is why the immunizations might have triggered something in so many kids. But the good news is that these kids can be helped and since you caught things so early you probably don't have to go through all that we did. If you help kids medically and then use ABA, they can have a total recovery. It is not easy, and only a mom is willing to go through what it takes What parents have posted on the email listserve about Dr. Goldberg and their experience with his treatment: " We started with Dr. Goldberg when our son was five years, four months and he is now ten and a half. When we began with Dr. Goldberg our son was in a special education classroom for children with varying exceptionalities, spoke but a few words, was sweet and loving but experienced inordinate frustration because of his lack of ability to communicate. We looked into ABA several times but frankly, we could not agree with the approach or philosophical premise for our child. Well, five years later, we have a star student in a regular classroom who is virtually indistinguishable from his peers save his smaller stature and a few lingering, but minor, social comprehension difficulties. NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE SAME CHILD! And yet, as his parents we always knew that the stereotypic features and attributes of autistics didn't really fit him. In the midst of the darkness in his early development, there was always a light deep within that beckoned us to acknowledge it and DEVELOP IT! We spent many years in speech, occupational, physical and even in vision therapy and though it wasn't much fun and was physically and financially draining, today we have an independent child who is at the top of his class, talks (sometimes too much!), and has all the options for a future that any child would want and deserve. My message to you is this: Believe what YOU see in your child. To the degree possible, do all that is necessary to help him make the long journey out of the darkness and into the light of HIS potential. Undoubtedly, it will take a lot of effort on everyone's part. BUT EVERY MOMENT AND DOLLAR OF SACRIFICE IS WORTH IT!!!!! Even if the results fall somewhat short of your expectations, what alternative is there? Hopelessness?? Things seldom improve without intervention and in the case of our children, it typically means extensive intervention. We moved 1200 miles to find a public school that would meet his needs and we have been blessed to have found one. They believe in him and have challenged him and synergistically, along with the help of superlative professionals like Dr. Goldberg, Fosnot, and Silton, this child has been able to exceed everyone's expectations. I no longer have the same feelings and beliefs I had when he was age five and told that, in time, he would have to be institutionalized. My heart sinks over the thought of 'what if I had followed their guidance?' The self-fulfilling prophecy is so operative in these circumstances. ..Hang in there. Listen, reflect, and choose what you feel is best for your [child]. ly, the feelings you are having now not only are common and necessary, but if you allow them to, will help lead you in the direction of your son's true needs. You and your child are not alone. Reach out, continue seeking what's best and TRUST your instincts. You are wished the strength, support, and courage needed to continue in this journey! " Parent, Crystal Lake, IL Dr. G was a major reason for our son's complete recovery. Our son is now 6, indistinguishable from his peers and his IQ tested above 120. It took 3 long and at times frustrating years. Our son's blood work has also normalized over time with medical treatment and we have been able to wean him off all antivirals and antifungals. Dr. G says we will next try to decrease the only medication our son is still on (Celexa - an SSRI.) " " I believe in 100%. That doesn't mean this is easy or fast. Until we have more direct treatments I believe this is the way to go. We have some setbacks but my son has come such a long way. " " I took him to be tested by a psychologist since it had been a while since his last test and the man very nicely informed me that will be done in 30 minutes (autistic children don't last longer). Well, 2 hours and 30 minutes later the man comes out shaking his head: 'Your child is so intelligent, he can't talk but he is something else. Who ever told you that your son is autistic with mental retardation is wrong. Your son has a communication disorder.' Today is.in a regular 1st grade classroom with his mom as his shadow, he still doesn't use his words but that does not mean that he will not. His grades are A across the board. He made friends, he is happy. " Parent, Greenville, SC " We have been seeing Dr. Goldberg for 5 years and have a well adjusted 7 year old boy in typical first grade. He is in the highest reading group, math group and is the best speller in the class. We still have an aide to help us with 'too much language' from the teacher at times, but he is happy, healthy and has friends. He takes piano lessons, horse back riding lessons, and gymnastics by himself (without and aide) with other children his age.We are not done yet, but we went from not speaking or interacting to a friendly, affectionate, 7 year old with friend who is a little bit slow in processing 'lots of language' at one time, but who has a terrific vocabulary and wonderful conversations. " My daughter ended the 5th grade last year doing 3rd grade reading and 1st grade math. She is now in the 6th grade doing 7th grade poetry, 6th grade prose and between 4th and 5th grade math. Science and social studies are also age level. I was told many times that she did not have the potential to do any of this. The protocol made the difference. She has been on it for 22 months. " Parent, Northern New York " The damage done to is slowly unraveling. Like an onion, you have to take each layer one at a time. But the difference in just 2 years has been amazing. The eyes are dark less and less. He is much more aware of his surroundings. His speech has improved. We've actually caught him appropriately playing with cars and toys. He's expressed a slight interest in the cats (much to their annoyance). And his abilities on the computer continue to grow by leaps. " Parent, sville, MD " Both my boys do not have autism or ADD, they have an immune disorder which causes autistic-like and ADD-like behaviors. As we have improved the immune system, the disorders have faded. My son (dx autistic disorder) (his language is delayed - but moving forward at a typical rate) is now virtually indistinguishable from typically developing children. We are well on our way to having a child without special needs! " Parent, Louisville, KY " I am one of those families that Dr. G's protocol has worked for. Our son is 5 years old and has been with Dr. G for 13 months. We too had to go through a period of " difficult " behavior. Believe me it was worth it to have the child I have today. I dread to think where he would be at if we had not sought the advice/treatment of Dr. Goldberg. " Parent, Tucson, AZ " [Our son] has never fit into the " classical " [autistic] diagnosis...late milestones, delayed from the beginning, social (with us - but not other children) etc. We have been on the protocol for just about a year and he has made tremendous gains.his speech really came in after we started getting his system healthy. .we are living proof that it has worked for [the] un-diagnosed, delayed from the beginning group too!! " a " My son is a patient of Dr. Goldberg's and we have been extremely impressed with the care he has received. He has only been on the protocol for 7 weeks and the autism specialist who saw him last week (and had not seen him since we started the protocol) was AMAZED. " " Since beginning the protocol (last September), [my son] has shown a real desire to communicate (he uses PECS fluently), and is (a) much happier child. " Traci " Overall, we have taken a child that was not surviving a mainstream 1st grade classroom on his own and barely with an aide, to a fully mainstreamed, independent 2nd grader who even took state testing on his own. When kids don't feel good, they act out. They can't put into words how their bodies feel, but tell us through their actions. My kids not only take their medicine and stick to their diets, but do so willingly. " Parent, Ellicott City, MD " My six year old son has been seeing Dr. Goldberg for five months. Shortly before starting the program, he had language testing done by the school speech therapist. The results showed significant delays, with a chronological age of 4 years 2 months in total language. He was just re-tested last week for his 3 year IEP review, and his chronological age now tests at 6 years 1 month. " Julee " My son's improvements have been subtle and most noticeable in our daily activities. " " In one year our child went from chronic sinus and ear infections, to maybe one every 3 months. Being 'well', and consequently feeling well, has allowed my child to blossom. The Autistic symptoms are almost completely gone - I now have a little guy that can lie as well as his peers! " " Truly amazing!! He is singing " Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star " and I cried! " Speech Pathologist of an autistic boy that no longer needed her therapy, Bainbridge, Indiana " Check out where my [ " autistic " ] son landed. All [developmental] areas are within normal chronological age.I think our little cutie is ready for Kindergarten! " Mother, Southern California " .our son has shown enough improvement in the last two months that we would already consider the trip (to see Dr. Goldberg) to have been totally worth it, even if we never saw another ounce of improvement. " [After trying the Protocol], our son not only has the potential to live a full and productive life but one filled with a wide variety of interesting and exciting choices! We no longer worry about his desire or ability to live independently and give of his talents to the world. His greatest challenge will now be where to focus his many creative and diverse interests/abilities. " Parents, Southern California " According to UCSB speech experts, my son has 'overcome' autism under your care. " Parents, Atlanta, Georgia " Since my son started the protocol, he can hit a baseball, rollerblade, play soccer, swim and bowl independently!! What an opportunity for him!! " Parents, New Jersey " has made leaps and bounds since starting the protocol. We can now comfortably take him to restaurants and places of interest. We now catch him playing appropriately with toys. His speech has improved. " Parents, sville, MD " Since Dr. G's treatment, Spencer has been blooming! He now can speak in up to to 9 word sentences and even likes to tell jokes. He is bright and alert, his hypotonia and sensory defensiveness have almost completely cleared up. He is active and engaging and is just beginning to become interested in playing with other children. His temper tantrums and transitioning problems are completely non-existent. Now he is not completely normalized because he still has apraxia ..[but] I have all hope that within a few more years he will be completely normalized. All of this was due to Dr. Goldberg's treatment. " Parent, West Springfield MI " In February, my 1 year old started to slip just like my son did. They didn't lose things overnight, just very gradually slipped into 'autistic' behaviors. She lost 6 words and 2 signs over the next 3 months. Eye contact and social behaviors also decreased. Not enough to get her an autism diagnosis, but I believe she was well on her way to getting one. We saw Dr. Goldberg with her in July. Within a month she had regained all but one word, both signs, and was back to her flirtatious self with strangers in the checkout lines. No more zoney episodes and no more clinging to me. The only thing we did was put her on an anti-viral and check her for food allergies and remove those foods that she couldn't tolerate. " Parent, Ellicott City, MD " Neurospect has been extremely powerful in understanding what is going on up there - and helped direct Dr. G in making decisions about medications/ and has helped our education psychologist and speech pathologist in adjusting and improving programs for him. " Parent, Singapore " What Kutapressin helped with was [my son's] general health. He became progressively more alert, responsive and verbal. We feel it was THE most important reason why our son is now normal in every respect. " We had tried a lot of things for before the work, and nothing before had this much impact. " .it is an uphill battle but very worth it. " Kathleen " My daughter has gone from borderline retarded to the top ten percentile in her class by attempting to modulate the immune system and not let it become overactive " Parent, Northern Idaho

So glad it's back as NEXAVIR; it's even better than the KUTA was as the manufacturing process is better and the porcine is purer. Guest guest
Are you using Nexavir? Dr. Goldberg told me last week he won't prescribe it until he can get his contacts at the FDA to give him the go-ahead. He said he wants to make sure it is pure....no " mad cow disease " problems, or something like that. I am anxious to get my son back on it, as it helped him, too.
