Guest guest
Oh Lord Pearl! I never wear sexy pretty things...LOL. If it dosn't cover up the saggy skin it doesn't go on me. I tried to buy some pretty sexy bras a few weeks ago but was discouraged by the overhang and the underhang on the side and back and actually the front. It was a very depressing trip and I ended up with my old reliable playtex 18 hr iron maiden bra that had the full sides that covers up the evil. More power to you if you wear the sexy stuff even if it is in private! Now panties are better, Since the pannie, at least if I buy hi cut panties(kind of sexy) then at least the pannie doesn't hang out of the leg holes anymore....LOL! Mel in Al Re: Pat Pat my furniture was 32 years old. So it was time. I didn't spend a lot of money on it, just got some cheap stuff that is new and looks pretty. Heck at my age it should last long enough. My grandkids are all pretty well grown now and so it is just basically just my daughter and I, and we are rarely in the living room. Just a nice place to invite company to sit. It makes me happy to have a pretty room. I wish you could have a room that made you happy too. Heck I wish everyone could have a room to make them happy. We all need a place to go and feel happy in. My friend from church came and she has known me many years and knew what my old living room looked like and she was amazed at how much this one made her feel so much more soothed. She said it suited me. Of course there is a running joke now about me and my pink and lilac throw pillows, but that is what I wanted and to me they fit. Like seeing you with the various colored hair. It fit your personality. I could never do that, but I enjoyed seeing yours. I always looked forward to seeing what color you were going to be. You gave a special spark to the meetings with no one ever knowing what color to expect. I think we all have our own colors that add our own sparks to our lives. I am into pastel, pretty, girly colors right now. For so many years I was so practical. Now I want pretty. I love lacy things also. I may not have the body for all the lacy things I like in public, but in private, for myself, I can wear them, and I do. I had never had a black bra, or anything but white or beige until after this surgery, as I had to buy them at the foundation store. Now I can buy lacy black ones, and colored ones. I don't wear plain old white ones anymore. For all you newbies, or going to be's, I may be old, but you to can look forward to wearing pretty, lacy, feminine things, at least in private. Things that make you feel good. I have not had any corrective surgery yet, but I can't wait to wear even more after I have my panni removed, boobs taken up and some things tightened up. I am living a life I had given up on. I go and do more than I had in years. Okay, enough. Off my soapbox. Just I am happy about having had my surgery and I have had such good results. I have not, as of yet at least, had any real problems. I try to be reasonable, but I live like a normal person. No one knows by my actions or looking at my that I have had surgery. I have seen people with RNY's who look bad. I have not had that problem. Love to all, Pearl
