Guest guest
Hi- Let me apologize first for the cross-posting. I have a 5 yr old SQCP little boy who has BPP. within the past few months he has been doing this thing and I wasn't concerned about it at first because he is just starting to use his hands and arms more so I kind of figured he was just looking at them because he was figuring out how to use them more. What he does is when he is laying down he puts one arm straight up and just watches his hand, moves it around, opens closes it and stuff like that. Just like marvels at the movement. Not just for a minute or two, but he'll do it forever ---hour or two. I will go in there when he's suppose to be napping and there he is staring at his hand. I don't think its a seizure because I can get him to do things. He'll talk with me, point to things and sometimes I can redirect his attention and its done but if not, he continues to look at his hand. If I try to hold his hand down he'll laugh and the second I let go he is right back at it. Does anyone else child do this?? or anything similar? It is starting to worry me a little. Thanks for your input- www.danielspranger.com
