My daughter is almost 4 and exhibits all signs of needing and wanting to go potty, knows what to do, tries and tries etc but she cannot do it! We were told she might have an autonomic issue with her bladder and bowels and are going to see a pediatric urologist. I think you should exhaust all avenues before getting too frustrated.
