Any Experience with Lamictal?

Hi Everyone,

My 16-month old son Ben has been having seizures since he was 3.5months old. We

have tried many, many different drugs over the past year, none of which have

been successful in stopping his seizures. The next drug his neurologist wants

to try is Lamictal - has anyone had any success with this drug? What were the

side effects? Did anyone develop a rash?

Any experiences would be helpful to us in knowing what to anticipate. As many

of you know, each drug offers a plethora of unpleasant side effects and it's

never been worth it so far because the drugs actually never stopped the

seizures. We are holding out a lot of hope, of course, that this will be Ben's

miracle drug.
