Guest guest
Fibroid tumors come from estrogen dominance, usually ratio of progesterone to estrogen imbalance. I had them yrs ago, and it was documented that I was not making any progesterone, even though I still had both ovaries and my uterus and plenty of estrogen. I believe that this came from having a tubil yrs before that, as the tubes are sort of like tiny "highwires" that transmit certain things right down the tubes. Progesterone stops the deleterious effects of estrogen, though estrogen is definitely something we can't go without either. It is the ovaries that make the most progesterone during the earlier yrs. It is usually progesterone that is first loss on the way to premenopause. I know this all makes estrogen sound like a terrible villain; obviously not, or our bodies wouldn't need it, but it's all about the balancing effect going awry, and progesterone also encourages proper working of the thyroid. Uterine Fibroids I'm asking for a friend, but has anyone had resolution of their uterine fibroids after being optimized on thyroid replacement?
