Can you add the ranges associated with the numbers? I

can't comment, but would be interested.

First we need the reference ranges for each test. Second, your doc has run the older, obsolete thyroid panel. Third, I do not see a Free T3 or even a Total T3. The T3 Uptake test does measure T3 levels. It is an obsolete test which measures thyroid binding globulins and is used together with the Total T4 to calculate the Free Thyroxine Index, another obsolete test which yields an estimate of the amount of Free T4 in your blood. Your cholesterol and your TSH, however tell

me that you are still undermedicated. I also do not see any tests for estrogen, progesterone, or cortisol. It appears that this doc is not thinking about optimizing your hormone levels, but rather is looking for PCOS/insulin resistance. What treatment or change in treatment does this doc propose? You need an increase in your thyroid meds, but I would want to see a Free T3 and Free T4 (direct) before making any specific suggestions. You may need more Armour, or you may need to add some Unithroid or Levoxyl to your current dose of Armour. testifyhisgrace wrote: LIPIDsTriglycerides 155Cholesterol, Total 258HDL Cholesterol 60LDL-Cholesterol 167CHOL/HDLC Ratio 4.3THYROID PANEL WITH TSH (THYROID PANEL)T-3 UPTAKE 24T-4 (Thyroxine), Total 5.9FREE T4 INDEX (T7) 1.4TSH 2.9GLUCOSE, FASTING (P) 80COMPREHENSIVE METABOLIC PANELGLUCOSE 87UREA NITROGEN (BUN) 15CREATININE 0.7BUN/CREATININE RATIO 21SODIUM 141POTASSIUM

This is the Note that was by this area of the report:

(TSH w/reflex to Free T4 (Test Code 36127) is considered a standard

of patient care for assessing thyroid disease by the american

thyroid association and the endocrine society. AMA, CPT - 4 Code

Book, 2004.)

SECOND TRIMESTER 0.50 - 4.60

be?)

Adult Female Reference Ranges for Androstenedione, Serum:

Follicular: 35-250 ng/dL

Mid-Cycle: 60-285 ng/dL

Luteal: 30-235 ng/dL

Postmenopausal: 20-75 ng/dL

Reference Range: 2-45

Total Testosterone was measured by LCMSMS. The LCMSMS method

correlates well with our extraction/RIA method.

Reference Range: 0.5-2.3

Total Testosterone was measured by LCMSMS. The LCMSMS method

correlates well with our extraction/RIA method.

>

> TESTOSTERONE, FREE 1.6 pg/mL

Reference Range: 0.1-6.4

Total Testosterone was measured by LCMSMS. The LCMSMS method

correlates well with our extraction/RIA method.

Reference Range: 4.0-20.0

Insulin level vary widely in specimens taken from non-fasting

individuals. (NOTE: I WAS FASTING FOR THIS TEST)

Reference Range: 20 or Less

Individuals with circulating Insulin antibodies may demonstrate

variable concentrations depending upon the binding capacity of the

circulating antibodies.

Insulin level vary widely in specimens taken from non-fasting

individuals. (NOTE: I WAS FASTING FOR THIS TEST)
