Guest guest
, I apologize for addressing Peggy. I think I just saw her name in a response to you or something and assumed she'd written the message. Thanks for replying. I figured I would just have to call some of the vets around here to see if any of them do that or know of any good vets that do. I haven't heard of too many vets that do make house calls. But, I'm glad to know that they're realizing the need for it. My poor cat is strictly an " indoors " cat and she goes nuts when we try to take her out of the apartment for any reason... nevermind getting her into the car. And I feel so bad for her. So, I was just thinking how nice it would be if I didn't have to take HER anywhere but the vet would come to us. At least she'd be in a familiar environment. That was another concern of mine. I don't know how in the world they think they're going to give her a shot (I need to update her shots)... I can't even hold her still long enough to clip her claws (without being ripped to shreds myself... which is exactly why I need to clip them). lol I joke to my husband about the fact that they're going to have to sedate her before they even TRY to give her a shot. I'm afraid they'll just start to stick her with that needle and then she'll go crazy. Unfortunately, cats don't understand English and don't know that if they don't be still, it's going to hurt worse. Anyway, I know you didn't really want to hear about my cat's neurotic behavior. lol But, thinking of all that is what makes me want to find a vet that makes house calls because at least she doesn't have to be seeing the vet in an unfamiliar place (I think she'll be traumatized enough when he pulls that needle out). Hope you have a great day! Kim
